REFLECTION ABOUT THE COURSE
This course was a great jump for our performance. Nectar of activities was given to us by Mr. Gregory. It leaded us to the secret recipe of being professions. I realized after taking this course how visual and verbal magical touches can always give you the green light to get the acceptation. This course guide me how to create a CV in a professional way that will help me after my graduating to apply for a job, doing a job interview was the second step for applying for a job, I did a practice during this course and I got the idea how should I act and react during an interview I played the role of interview and an interviewer which makes me realize how does the interviewer think they want to see how the person acts and reacts during answering the question. Also I did a presentation which was the idea of it to create a presentation in interesting way to get the audience attention, I learned during doing the presentation that getting the audience attention is very important the tamplnt and they way how I present the presentation every small thing during doing the presentation is very necessary .However I learned how to work with the team and being organized. Also I learned how to do a research with using some sources for example website, books and handouts and insert these sources in the research with IEEE bibliography. I think this course is very important for the students because it will prepare them for the future and how to deal with it , also it will going to help during doing my other courses in searches and presentations

Meeting Report

On Oct 24th 2011 we had a meeting in ADMC in room T006 at 11:00 till 11:30. This meeting was called by Faisal Abdulla who was the facilitator of this meeting; Faisal Salem was the note taker and timekeeper. Abdulla Taleb and Bakheet Jumma were members. The chair welcomed the members and introduced the topic, discussing improvements in life at college at ADMC.
At the beginning we went through the first point on our agenda which, was facilities. There were sub issues such as, the gym, the food court and temporary classrooms. We all agreed about the need to replace the old equipment with new devices and for sports companies to supply our need for high quality sport apparati and in return can then.
Secondly, we moved to the next issue which was food court. Bakheet who was the one who suggested this point faced my colleague Faisal and I objected because the recent increases are sufficient. Next, we considered the third sub issue which was the classrooms. We confined ourselves to continued maintenance of fire equipment and related topics, instead of building new classrooms which would cost us a lot and all members agreed.
After that, because of the limited income sources of the ADMC budget, I recommended attracting big companies as sponsors of activities in ADMC also I proposed to use advertisement stands to supplement the ADMC budget. Then, we moved to the last point which was parking problems .I suggested hiring a Valet Company to offer parking services but the chairman rejected this idea because it would be an additional burden on students. Instead of that my colleague Bakheet recommended providing buses for student who live in the down town area and asking the media department to help us to encourage students to use public transportation instead of private cars.

Over all, the chairmen distributed the work between our group and he set up a date for the next meeting which will be Nov 18th 2011, in the same room and the same time. Also, he assigned to me a task to follow the source of income for increases in the ADMC budget.

Objectives:




This meeting is to look at the proposal for improving college life at ADMC. First of all, we will discuss how to develop the facilities zone to renew the sport equipment and to increase the food court area. Second, we will try to find more resources of income to help us to achieve our goals. Then, we are going to talk about the public transportation and how it will benefit us to face parking problems. Finally, we will use the media to encourage using public transportation.

intrudaction about me

My name is Abdulla, I am a student in foundation higher diploma year, I am 30 year old, I am married with 4 beautiful and naughty kids that makes me thank God every day for the bliss that I have in my life.
I didn’t have an opportunity to complete my high study at my early ages because of different circumstances, but when I had the chance I couldn’t miss it. Also I was an employee in the civil defense department, and that was the second reason to make me complete my study so I can satisfy the work requirements.
I like to read the newspaper a lot to follow the news everywhere, and also to surf the people’s blogs and forms that contains their travel experiences.

I wasn’t the traveler type till someone told me that if I start once I will travel for ever, and that was true. The first country was Turkey, I went over the green villages and Istanbul. It is an interesting country mixing with modern and old culture. Then I went to Lebanon and Syria, Beirut was the best ever. Furthermore, I went to Kuwait, Bahrain, Geneva and Paris. Now I couldn’t stop thinking of traveling all the time, I am planning to go to Spain or Germany next year.

At home I have different world, I am talking about the world of my kids, they are 2 girls and 2 boys, each one of them have different character, The oldest Mahra is 6 years old, she is the curious, controlling, smartest one of them, she understand English very mach and now she cannot miss our secrets me and her mother, so we might learn the Chinese language because of her. Rashid is the poorest one that falls in Mahra’s tricks all the time, he is 5 years he is handsome and has big eyes with long lashes and has the pretties look ever. Jaber is 2 years, he is the spoiled one I don’t know why since he is number 3, but maybe because he gets what he want, trying all the ways to reach it from the easiest way till the hardest. Meera is the funny one, she is smiling all the time even when she is crying, it’s easy to make her stop, every day she surprise us with something new, but she is very lazy to try walking since she will complete her first year on al Eid.
I am an open minded person, helpful and optimistic. I like to make people feel god about them self, and push them forward to achieve their goals, because I missed this kind of person on my life. I am not the difficult type on daily dealing and I like to be happy and positive, the negative type of people is the most people faces physical illness.
