I would like to apply for the civil engineering position in the Hapshaan petroleum field, advertised in the National newspaper on Sunday September 18, 2011. My resume is enclosed for your convenience.
As you will see from the enclosed CV, I have studied Civil Engineering for 4 years at Abu Dhabi Men’s College, – Higher Colleges of Technology and I expect to graduate in June 2012. Because I worked in civil defense from January 2000 till 2005 as a safety inspector, this has enabled me to work with safety apparatus and I have extensive knowledge about their use, best practices and I can teach other members of staff proper procedures. In February, 2005 until present, I worked for Abu Dhabi Municipality as a Safety Drawing Certifier in the Building Permits Department, which developed my knowledge in the Auto CAD Program and DWF-2010.
My communication skills are also excellent in both Arabic and English, as was demonstrated my work experience. I am responsible, hard working, motivated and professionally ambitious. I would be honored to have the opportunity to meet you to present my skills and how I can use then to benefit your company.
